Russia to raise 2015 local debt servicing spending by 26 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Apr 13 (PRIME) -- The Russian Finance Ministry is likely to amend the 2015 budget again as it lacks about 23-26 billion rubles to service domestic debt fully as it is unlikely to fulfill the local borrowing plan, First Deputy Finance Minister Tatyana Nesterenko told reporters on Monday.
“The issue of servicing appears…It is a serious issue, because we will most probably introduce changes in the budget, look for money for debt servicing,” Nesterenko said.
The Finance Ministry might raise funds to redeem the debt by selling OFZ bonds but their price will be high, she said.
